Munting Mutya ng Pilipinas Candidates Press Conference

Forty eight lovely and young Munting Pilipinas candidates were presented to the members of media  during their press presentation at the Richmonde Hotel in Eastwood Quezon City.



The cutesy kids from different regions in the Philippines introduced themselves and sashayed down the runway wearing their playful and colorful dresses and posed for photos.

According to the organizer, Munting Mutya ng Pilipinas is the first of its kind pageant for young aspiring Filipinas around the world and all over Philippines aged 7 to 12 years old. The pageant is promoting the beauty of our country, its people, our culture and a pageant that gives our youth the platform to speak their mind and be influences and role models at their early age.

Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin (I.K.O.N.)



This year’s Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin (I.K.O.N.) marked another Milestone in the events’ scene in Tagaytay. A weeklong celebration of arts, culture, native products, talents and people in the heart of the South was truly remarkable and authentic. FORA Filinvest Lifemalls in partnership with When in Manila, DTI Cavite and NDN Entertainment Productions celebrated the Heroes Month last August 26 to September 1, 2019 with a bang at FORA Activity Center. This week-long celebration of our ARTS, CULTURE, PRODUCTS, CRAFTS, TALENTS and ARTISTRY is entitled IKON (Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin, and is now a signature event of FORA Mall Tagaytay. Attracting an average of 800 foot traffic daily, more than 50 exhibitors and participants were very satisfied with the maximum exposure of the event, giving them the opportunity to advertise their local products and their works of art. This event also is a collaborative effort of different groups of artists, media, celebrities and many more.

Worldwide Zara Carbonell and the country’s most influential and controversial motivational speaker, Manu Respall, a.k.a. MR Speaks.

To honor this year’s outstanding Filipinos in Cavite for their exemplary work, IKON awarded a pottery plaque created by artist EJ Espiritu of Cornerstone Pottery Farm. This year’s honorees were! Ms. Cowee Pascual of ARTreach Missions Inc., Ms. Katrina Ambion of Tagaytay Moms, Mr. Armando Nero Sr. of Kable, Kreon Community, Mayor Agnes Tolentino of Tagaytay City, and Ms. Nitya Lila of Dakila. 

Fora Mall intends to hold this event every year and to continue to provide a platform for people to discover and enjoy art while promoting the local art scene. Watch out for another fun-filled and colorful event in the IKON 2020.

I.K.O.N. (Istorya ng Kultura at ng mga Obra Natin) is FORA’s advocacy to honor and feature silent heroes, celebrating culture, love of country and the arts. This year’s celebration will not be possible without the collaborative efforts of FORA team headed by Filinvest Lifemalls VP Joy. R.
