Filipino Fashion Designer John Guarnes for Fashion Week Brooklyn SS2016 "PAMANA" Inspired Collections
The
Philippine Eagle is one of the wold's largest, most powerful birds of
prey. It is now considered as endangered species. Recently one of its
kind named PAMANA was shot dead two months after being released back
into the wild. Through this awareness I was able to get my
inspirations and bring to life PAMANA in my very own collections. To
aware the world about what happened and let someone be responsible
for doing this ferocious act. Today through Fashion Week Brooklyn
2016 I will unveil my collections to presents my inspirations and
interpretation of our own Philippine Eagle – PAMANA (Inheritance)

After winning the Los Angeles Fashion Week Design Competition last October 17, 2015 in Los Angeles California, Joyce Penas Pilarsky is set to unveil her new collections at Fashion Week Brooklyn SS2016 on Friday, October 24, 2015 at Red Hook Labs, Brooklyn, New York.

"Every woman's dream is to walk on the aisle with the man of their life. She would always love to capture every single moment of her life as she walks. I will unveil my SS2016 Collections at Fashion Week Brooklyn inspired by a beautiful bride and together with their handsome groom. I would like my bride to be radiant in bridal gowns that i will be presenting."

Joyce had been designing dresses, gowns and fashion accessories for a long time. She always wanted to design her own clothes because she loves to create something different and it’s her passion. She started joining fashion shows around the globe like Philippine Fashion Week, J Summer Fashion show in Paris, Fashion Week Brooklyn, New York, Summer Fashion show in Germany, Ecoluxe Luxury Fashion show during the London Fashion Week 2014, ECO Fashion Show in Abu Dhabi. Last April 25, 2015 she presented her SS2015 Collections at Angelman Syndrome Collection showcase – New York, she also unveiled her red carpet inspired couture collection at Facet Fashion Week 2015 in Hollywood, California.
